Don't Neglect Your Digital Agency and Your Online Strategy

If you don’t believe that a digital agency could benefit your company, read on. According to the BBC, £33 billion was spent by UK consumers online in 2009. And it’s easy to see why: the simplicity and convenience of the internet has massively increased the amount of people buying anything from food to televisions online. Still, £33 billion’s an impressive amount. What are you doing to win your company a share of that pie?
The whole world has gone digital. Online is the new high street. The good news is that the growth of online retail represents a brilliant opportunity for retailers. For small companies without a visible high street presence, this is especially true. Everybody’s equal online. Or at least everyone has the potential to be. Ask your digital agency, it’s true! All of this means that even the smallest of companies can reach new clients as long as they have a decent digital strategy.
Sadly, too many companies neglect their digital strategy. It is important to mention here that owning a website alone does not constitute a digital strategy. Do you see any point in owning a website that doesn’t get updated, isn’t easy to use and is even harder to find.
For small companies, the investment of a digital agency can be massive. But given that the return on investment of a good digital agency is only as limited as demand for whatever your company offers, it’s worth it.
Allowing a digital agency to manage your online presence can seem daunting. But you must think of your digital strategy like a well-oiled machine with many component parts, like web design, web development, search engine optimization, e-mail marketing, PPC and social media, amongst others. If one of these components fails, the entire machine will probably stall. If you were to try to find someone to manage each component of the machine in-house, you’d spend a lot of money and time and still struggle. It’s lucky then that your digital agency has the talent to manage all of this under one roof. If just one company could build you a user-friendly website that’s as attractive to the human eye as it is the Google robots that scan it then provide you with the tools to keep it updated easily and then improve the site’s visibility and that of your brand using their web marketing expertise, you’d jump at the chance to hire them, wouldn’t you? And that’s exactly why you can’t afford not to use a digital agency.READ THE FULL ARTICLE
