Correlation or Causation? This is Awesome!

While recently attending a holiday Christmas party a good buddy of mine asked if I had seen the graph attached below. He went on to describe the corralation of facebook subscribers and the yield on the 10 year Greek government bonds. Shortly after the party I received an email with a link to the graph and decided it was 'blog' worthy. What do you guys think? Did the name 'Avas' cause the housing bubble?
Correlation may not imply causation, but it sure can help us insinuate it.
